Do you really know what is most important in your business? Do you really know what is most important in your life? If you do, are you living from there, in relationship with others and the world in a way that begins to make that real?
And if so, are you effective and succeeding, or is it merely something you know? If you are effective, who is it serving? And is the life this gives you a source of deep contentment and joy?
People do not know what is truly important, what matters less and what matters not at all. We are in an age of ungroundedness, unclarity. Uncertainty, and delusion abound. We find ourselves too often divided within ourselves between what we know or believe and what would really be helpful in our lives, what would really work.
Simply put, we lack wisdom. What we know - and how we know it - is not working right now. But we are certain that we are right about it, and we defend it, in spite of the fact that it clearly does not work for us. If you look at it, you can see this for yourself.
Dissatisfaction is the very ground for transformation and real spiritual growth. It is the birthplace of excellence. When you are dissatisfied, you are waking up from having been asleep, disconnected, distracted within yourself. You are the key and the world in the lock when you're out of step in this way.

We’re lacking in vitality, ineffective with others, out of communication, wanting for real accomplishment and satisfaction, and giving our deepest gifts to too few of those we love and care about - or aspire to make a difference with. Even if we are successful on the surface.

YOU. They all come from you, pass through you, get dealt with by you. They have your DNA, your style, your fingerprints, all over them. When you are dissatisfied in some area of your life, you think it’s something outside of you in that area, but this is never true. What is going on is something deeper, less obvious, and much more powerful.
We experience too little wonder, joy, surprise, purpose, awe, collaborative ecstasy, serenity and peace. And the kind of deep gifts we are capable of giving, to others and to the world, go ungiven.
This is the hardest thing. Out of anything you could work on, this is the most challenging: Transforming your dissatisfaction and creating the life you yearn for. It's challenging, but working skillfully with it also holds the most potential for learning, growth, accomplishment, fulfillment and joy.
Because the ways in which we are disconnected are tied to our experience of being who we are, it's difficult for us to express, or even listen to, our deepest heart, while also listening to the mental analysis and chatter of our mind. This leaves us cut off from our only true power: our self.
It’s inevitable for each of us, as we grow, that until we begin to seriously practice and develop the deep-level skill sets that come from harmonizing these two parts of ourselves, we live our lives feeling inauthentic. And most people in our present-day world never have the opportunity or good fortune to work on it at all. But you can. Getting to work on your life, and creating something beautiful out of it, is the highest calling. And answering this call blesses you and others.
My work frees people up, in unexpectedly potent ways, to explore, understand and express themselves newly. And to accomplish things that are bold, extraordinary and wanted in the world. In the process allowing the heart to lead the mind.
This is the meaning of heaven: Being yourself fully and powerfully in this place, at this moment. Relating, creating and fulfilling your vision in the world as a joyful expression of being alive.
This is my work.
All of these things are possible, and they are possible for you.
And the secret is to start. Even though it feels uncertain.
